Honesty is the best policy. Everybody knows it but are we honest at all times.
Maybe we like to think we are honest when actually we are selectively honest. We like to tell and hide truths based upon situations, persons, and emotions.
We, humans, love moulding facts as per our convenience. So, is there any moment when we are utterly honest about how we feel or how much we know.
Maybe when you are writing your diary? No, not really. It can vary. One might not always be honest in their journal because you do not want somebody to accidentally find out about your dark secrets or confessions.
So, what is it?
It is when you type in the Google search bar.
Yes, we are completely honest when typing in this tiny search bar.
Well, first, nobody is judging us!
Second, we can erase the history so that nobody finds out about our flaws, needs, secrets, and more!
You will be surprised to learn about some of the weirdest stuff that people look up online all the time. That said, it also explains how people do not hesitate to ask anything to Google.
So, what does this mean?
Understanding these honest conversations can help brands and businesses reach out to their target audience.
Let’s understand this by an example:
Fallon was gifted a plant by her boyfriend but she did not know how to take care of it as it was her first plant. She opens her browser and looks for the name of the plant using the image search engine. She knows the name of the plant now. So, she types in “how to take care of XYZ”. There is a list of results and she skims through different links to find out the one that answers the best to her queries. The website promotes a few plant products in the blog but she ignores it as she is a total rookie. But she takes information from the blog and tries to implement it.
Next time, when she faces some issue with her plant, she goes to the same website directly and looks for corresponding solutions. After a few weeks, when she has become an informed plant mom, she decides to buy some products that can help her take care of her plant better. And this time again, she looks it up online but also goes to the website from which he had learned so much. Eventually, she buys from the same website.
Even though she made a purchase later but it was because she landed on your website through that informative piece that answered her query.

Search Engine Optimization is critical to the growth of any business. A marketing strategy without SEO will get you nowhere. Maybe somewhere, but with the right SEO your business could take off in unexpected ways.
Having your business online isn’t enough!
Online presence is important in today’s technology driven era. However, it is just a step of the process. Once you have your dot com, it is time to work on getting discovered by your target audience.

On an average, there are almost 4 billion searches per day on Google which means you are missing the chance of getting discovered by your prospects.
